Now I dont know that much about this game other than its a first person batman game, which from what I gather centers around wannabe clans and a multiplayer environment. Looks pretty interesting. Free Exclusive Halo Reach Armor (for iOS Users)

Today Bungie released the Bungie app. on the Apple app store. I havent really played with the ap muc yet (I have a droid phone) but it looks like a place to manage your halo stats, along with picking up some Bungie swag. Like for today, they are giving away the Blue Flame helmet and a unique Nameplate for your spartan on Halo Reach from now until July 7. (7 7 get it?)
Heres the directions for getting it:

Upon opening the app. at the bottom you will see: Love Bungie. Go there…
I forgot to take pics. of process but you will see 2 options: Blue flame and nameplate. Go into Blue flame and enable.
Now when I got onto Reach I had a new armor message pop up. I then went into armory and into armor effects.
Enable it and your done. This is what it looks like on my spartan.

Live Family Pack: Saving and your friends cash.
I recently ran into an issue with xbox live. My wife recently subscribed to Netflix, so she has naturally been burning up bandwidth watching episodes of my pregnant teen, and wives of the army (or whatever show she feels like watching). She had a gamertag and I figured I would just tie it to her account. I was then given a big no-no from Microsoft. For some reason (which makes no sense to me) you have to be a Gold Member to stream Netflix. So not only are you paying $10 a month for Netflix, but you are also having to pay $60 a year for Gold to use the feature.
So in the face of adversity, I tied it to my Gold Account.
Big mistake.
I soon discovered that I was unable to do anything while she was watching her shows. No offline play, no gathering achievements, no online in another room, nothing. At first I thought “ok, ill deal with this until I get the money for her gold account.” But was soon told that I didn’t need to pay $120 a year and that was too much for Xbox live.
Saturday comes and my buddy, Eric and his wife swings by. Call of Duty starts calling our names and we have no way of playing. So we start trying to find ways around it. Conclusion: Nada. He then says “well my live runs out next month.” Then on my screen I see it. The Gold Family Pack. Tweaking my interest I check into it, sounds like a solid deal. $99.99 a year for 4 Gamertags. $25 a piece. So I propose the offer to my loving wife and get the “Go ahead.”
So now Amanda and I are both gold, bringing a resolution to my netflix nightmares, and Eric and his wife are now gold. A couple things I noticed with this package, we can gift points. So lets say Eric wants the newest COD Map pack for 1600 msp (or something outrages like that) and he is only 20 points shy. Instead of buying a whole new points card for just 20 points. I can send him 20 of mine. Pretty sweet deal.
So if your looking for a cheaper way to pay for Live. Find 4 good friends that are trustworthy and pitch in all together and get the Family pack. Well worth it.
Avatar Legends: A Must Have Indie Game
I usually browse the indie game section on xbox live every few days. Many of the games there… well, arent the most fun to play. I really have enjoyed a few games though from the indie marketplace, Stunt Bike Racer, and Avatar Golf come right to mind. But I have sense found a new favorite, and its even taken playing time away from my achievement whoring.
When I scrolled over Avatar Legends, it instantly caught my eye. I didnt purchase it right away though. The next day at work, i jumped on youtube and found this trailer for the game. At that moment I was sold. The game is so clever and witty, and has more humor than any rpg ive ever played. I keep finding things that make me laugh. Like today I was going through the open world and read a sign that said “Lost Forrest: We would call it Woods but fear a law suit”. Clearly a hit at OOT. It’s brilliant and subtle humor, it even plays on things from the rpg genre that doesnt make much sense.
There are many quest and side quest on your way, and I found myself wanting to complete them. The game oddly takes me back to Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time. A friend of mine actually came over and saw me playing it today and said “This reminds me of zelda.” There are some features I havent even tried yet. The game includes a level creator so you can create your own stories and towns, and a multiplayer level creator. Neither one I have touched yet.
Last night, a friend of mine and I stayed up till 3:00am playing the multiplayer aspect. There was a bit of a learning curve at first but once your a few levels up you start to become addicted to the gameplay. Escpecially when gaining new titles for your character and upgrades.
If you are reading this, buy this game now. It is only 240 msp, and it is worth it 100%.
